Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual attack is hard to see coming. I usually see it in the rear view mirror after I have been attacked. It needs decisive spiritual action, prayer, closing of ranks and confidence of our salvation in Christ, our warrior Lord. In Him is the victory.

What are we asked to do? Stand firm! That's it.

Read Ephesians 6:10-20.

For a fact stand for something or beware of falling for anything! We need to first love ourselves and love our neighbors and today the buzz word is PC - in reality it should be Politeness and Civility - what a differnce this would make in our fouled up world. Yes, one by one we can make a difference and this is what God wants of us and that is to make that difference! Let's start!

I also like fleeing temptation. I'm working on doing a lot of that. My problem with it is what I indicated in this post. I always experience spiritual attack in the rear view mirror. In the middle of my sin, I'm a blind, deaf swine. When I look back on my fall, I think, among other things, "Who was that guy?"
